Maura Snabes is the current President of the MLTA for the 2025-26 fiscal year. Ms. Snabes is a licensed Michigan attorney and began her career as underwriting/corporate counsel for Northern Michigan Title Company in 1994 and joined Corporate Settlement Solutions (css) in 2002 as legal counsel. She is current SVP, Michigan operations & Counsel. In 1995, she established Northern Michigan 1031 Exchange Company (now known as Corporate Exchange Services) which is a qualified intermediary for forward, reverse and build-to-suit tax-deferred exchanges. She is a Certified Exchange Specialist® as certified by the Federation of Exchange Accommodators and is a licensed Michigan real estate broker. She regularly gives seminars on 1031 exchanges and other real estate matters to real estate and tax professionals throughout the state. Ms. Snabes is a member of the MLTA Legislative Steering and ALTA Legislative committees, as well as the MLTA Professional Designation Board of Review, and is an ICLE contributor. She is highly involved with her community and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Charlevoix-Emmet Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Zonta, the Elks, and the Antrim-Charlevoix-Kalkaska Association of Realtors. Ms. Snabes and her husband, Chris, have three adult children and live in Charlevoix, Michigan.

Kristen is Vice President and Underwriting Counsel for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.  Kristen has 29 years of experience in the title industry. She serves Old Republic Title agents, providing support and assistance as needed with their transactions in Michigan. She grew up in the title industry and worked in her family’s title plant.  She has 13 years of experience handling title insurance claims for a national underwriter. Kristen graduated from Alma College with degrees in Sociology and Political Science.  She earned a law degree from Wayne State University Law School. She also studied at the Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands. Kristen is the current President-Elect of the Michigan Land Title Association.

Debbie Haught, a 39-year veteran of the title insurance industry, began her career in 1986 in Milwaukee with a national underwriter on the agency side, then transitioned to a joint venture role that fueled her expertise and passion for leadership, increasing efficiencies and agency management. She went on to establish and run multiple successful agencies, forging strategic partnerships, optimizing operations, and driving ROI. Holding senior management positions throughout most of her career, she has guided teams through market shifts, regulatory changes, and technological advancements, earning recognition as a trusted leader in compliant, client-focused title solutions. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Northwood University with a degree in Business Administration – Management, Debbie currently serves as Vice President of Operations for Mt Pleasant Abstract and Title, Family of Agencies, and proudly sits on the MLTA Board.

David H. Martyn is a Vice President and Government Affairs Manager in the Corporate Underwriting Department for First American Title Insurance Company. Prior to that, he served for several years as the Midwest Regional Underwriting Director for First American Title. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Emory University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cleveland State University.   Mr. Martyn has practiced in the real estate and title insurance industries for more than 30 years in Michigan and Georgia. He is a member of and Council member of the State Bar of Michigan Real Property Law Section and is a member and secretary of the Land Title Standards Committee, is a past Chair of the Oakland County (Michigan) Bar Association (OCBA) Real Estate Committee, a past president of the Michigan Land Title Association, and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia Real Property Law Section.  He is a frequent speaker for the industry, including for the State Bar of Michigan Real Property Law Section, the OCBA, the Michigan Land Title Association, Emory University School of Law, the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, the Cleveland Affordable Housing Roundtable, the Dougherty County (GA) Bar Association, Albany State University, and Lorman Education Services. He has been published in the Michigan Real Property Review, Laches (a publication of the OCBA), the Scotsman Guide, and Hispanic Health Care International.

Amy Zemple has worked with Stewart Title for 16 years and is the Agency Services Manager for Michigan and Illinois. This is her second term on the MLTA Board, where she serves as the board liaison to both the Communications and Sponsorship Committees. You can catch her periodically on MLTA’s podcast Title Bytes. She is passionate about supporting title professionals and strengthening industry collaboration across the state.

Cindy joined the FNF Michigan Agency team in 2013 and is the VP/ Sr. Account Manager for the State of Michigan. She is an ALTA National Title Professional (NTP) and an MLTA Certified Land Title Professional (CLTP). Cindy has over 33 years of experience in the title industry and has held many positions within our industry. Cindy’s passion and expertise helps identify and provide timely solutions to Title Agents and the Real Estate community. She is a very active member of both the Michigan Land Title Association and ALTA. Cindy was awarded the Robert J. Jay Award for distinguished service and outstanding leadership by the MLTA in July 2017.

Cindy currently serves in several volunteer positions in her community. She serves as Vice President of the Clarenceville School District of Wayne and Oakland Counties and Secretary of the Clarenceville Education Foundation. She is a native of southeast Michigan and has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Lawrence Technological University. She lives in Livonia, Michigan with her husband of many years. Outside of work and volunteering, Cindy enjoys activities with friends and family such as gatherings, dinner events / cooking, boating, weekends at the lake, and many other outdoor activities.

Caitlin Leszczynski is a licensed Michigan attorney, Certified Land Title Professional (CLTP), and the Director of Operations and partner at Legacy Title Agency. A graduate of Albany Law School, she blends legal precision with a passion for elevating the real estate closing experience.

I am currently in my 33rd year of involvement in the Real Estate industry. I have performed all title production functions in my career in title. I am a lifelong learner, and am still learning new and exciting information constantly with my interactions with my peers in the title industry. I have held title producer licenses in 8 states in my career.

My daily drive is to follow my Father’s Golden Rule— “If you don’t have time to do it right the first time, how can you expect to have time to do it over”. July 20, 2015, was the resurrection of my passion for the title industry — my first day with Lighthouse Title. The 7 years prior to that I had a job in the title industry, starting then I resumed my CAREER in the title industry. My goal is to teach with every interaction every day externally with customers and internally with employees. My greatest reward received currently is being treated as a peer by my “title hero’s”, those who trained me and who now ask for my opinion and feedback.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the title insurance industry, Anne Flynn serves as an Agency Account Manager for First American Title Insurance Company. Her deep industry knowledge and genuine commitment to helping others make her a trusted resource and valued collaborator.  Anne is passionate about fostering strong relationships within the title community and is honored to serve on the board of the Michigan Land Title Association. She finds great joy in connecting people and creating opportunities for success. Outside of work, Anne enjoys traveling, volunteering, and relaxing with a good book.

Kirk Bell is an Agency Sales Representative with WFG National Title Insurance Company. He is a licensed title agent with over 18 years of valuable experience in the real estate and title insurance industry.

With a career spanning nearly two decades, Kirk has garnered a profound understanding of the complexities of the real estate market, consistently providing professional guidance to clients and stakeholders involved in property transactions. His extensive knowledge and expertise enable him to navigate the intricacies of title insurance.

Kirk is an influential figure within the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA), where he actively contributes as the Communication and Public Relations Committee Chair. His dedication to enhancing industry standards and focus on fostering effective communication within the association exemplify his commitment to the growth and development of the real estate and title insurance sector.

In addition to his involvement with the MLTA, Kirk is actively engaged with various Boards of REALTORS® across the State of Michigan. With his extensive experience and industry involvement, Kirk continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of title insurance and real estate services in the state of Michigan.
